The MILLISHORT system is a technological innovation for the introduction of more compact mills. The system is based in two machines, MILLFLOUR and MILLIBRAN that replace entirely the roller mill in several roll passages in the milling diagram thanks to its impact action.
The MILLIFLOUR is used for the reduction of semolina and fine semolina flours in replacement of the roller mill in head smooth passages (ex.: R1, R2, C1, etc.). The MILLIBRAN is used for the optimum finishing of bran in the place of roller mill in break tail passages (ex.: B3, B4, B5).
The MILLISHORT system presents the following advantages compared to the roller mill:
- Less maintenance required; no rolls fluting and/or sandblasting
- No machine adjusting required
- Less power absorption, output being equal
- Smaller overall dimensions, and easy installation
- Easy flow diagram application for up-rating of production capacity in existing mills with reduced room availability
- Lower purchase cost.
